My pet has flown away
Now that my pet has flown,
Beyond the ocean vast and blue;
Leaving me to weep and mourn,
On my fate that’s ill and blue;
I can dream when I ‘m awake,
There’s no need to sleep at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
Towards her ancestral land,
My life is full of aches and pain,
There’s no remedy in doctor’s hand;
I feel the pain of being alone,
There’s no need to dream at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
From my hands which used to hold her gently;
Pain induced by fault of my own,
Has taken over every inch of body slowly;
I know the pain exists at hand,
There’s no need to feel at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
And her absence in life’s perceptible;
The thoughts of her is my night gown,
My state is obvious and detectable;
You’ll see the twinge on my face,
There’s no need to know at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
Beyond the ocean vast and blue;
Leaving me to weep and mourn,
On my fate that’s ill and blue;
I can dream when I ‘m awake,
There’s no need to sleep at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
Towards her ancestral land,
My life is full of aches and pain,
There’s no remedy in doctor’s hand;
I feel the pain of being alone,
There’s no need to dream at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
From my hands which used to hold her gently;
Pain induced by fault of my own,
Has taken over every inch of body slowly;
I know the pain exists at hand,
There’s no need to feel at all.
Now that my pet has flown,
And her absence in life’s perceptible;
The thoughts of her is my night gown,
My state is obvious and detectable;
You’ll see the twinge on my face,
There’s no need to know at all.

its really touching..........
I see that life has torn apart,
Too many of us too far apart;
Yet words you've said ,will never depart,
As will remain in every reader's heart.
