Will the sun ever rise?

Will the sun ever rise?

I watched the sun as it set,
With a dismal look on its face;
The face of the sky gave me more threat,
As the sun went down without a trace.

The light which gave my soul more life,
The hue which shone my face so bright,
As bubbles popped by tip of a knife,
Vanished from sight, depriving me of light.

It is well-known that the earth is round,
And sun gives light to a half at a time;
If joy is more in spreading light on the other ground,
The sun may stay there to end of time.

Without the beams of sun any more,
The darkness will call forth my death;
The sky is dark, look there no more,
Close your eyes and pray for light with every breath.
